The Obamathon Man plans not only to attend the inauguration but to traverse this great land, stopping to chat with indigenous peoples along the way. My fraternal affiliate and I will be doing a month-long residency in the great city of Denver, Colorado, after which we will be visiting Kansas City, St. Louis, Louisville, and Richmond, VA. Regrettably we probably won't have time to visit Obama's Kennebunkport. But we give our best to those in the Windy City, even though we wish some of its residents were a bit less windy.
As an antidote to our Chicago-deficient misery, we're going to make the most of our time in Missouri. In the November election, Missouri emerged as the possibly the Purplest state, with McCain narrowly defeating Obama by 4,000 votes. We'll be intermingling with Missourians, and hopefully find ourselves in the midst of heated political viewpoints.
